Moments

If you know anything about me you know one of my favorite movies is The Vow. I love the story and I love it even more knowing its true. I love knowing that even though she lost her memory and felt she didn't know or love her husband she ended up falling back in love with him.

Just like Channing Tatum says in the move, "I believe that life is made up of moments." I really believe this. I believe there are good and bad moments happy and sad ones too. I believe they shape us and mold us. I also believe we can get lost in these moments.

There was a moment almost ten year ago when I met you and it was only the two of us in the room even if that was only for a few minutes that was the best moment of my life. I felt like I was already one with you. Four years later there was a call that came to my phone with you on the other end and you asked if I could help you get your parents house ready to sell. I said yes. We had an afternoon of playing house and it was the moment I knew I wanted to do that with you for the rest of my life.

There was a moment three years ago where you stood up for me in a hospital and sixteen hours later we had our daughter in our arms. That was the third greatest moment in my life. It was the third because it showed me the second greatest moment in my life would never fade. On December 26, 2012 two people got married on Preston Street in Downtown Houston. They sat in a little room and promised that we would never leave the other one no matter how hard it got.

We broke that promise and but we will never break that moment. It is apart of our history as a couple and as a team. I believe there are still moments to be made. I believe there is still love to be had. I believe there are still dances to dance.

Out there on that empty hardwood floor...

A.
